The product that started Day of the Dead Foods, LLC is a fresh, refrigerated salsa. I developed the recipe to this product using the Deuel Community Kitchen in Toronto, SD. That kitchen and the opportunity it offered played a huge role in allowing me the accommodations to start my business. Anyone looking for commercial kitchen space to rent so they can launch a product should look into this amazing program!
Day of the Dead Salsa is made with ingredients that contain little to no artificial flavors or preservatives. Because I do not use artificial preservatives or go through a canning process, the salsa I produce has a short 3 week shelf life. This limits my availability for shipping, but I feel this delivers the freshest product to my customers, without sacrificing the quality so many people have come to love.
